At New Paltz Church of the Nazarene, we believe childhood is a crucial time to develop moral values in children and introduce them to spirituality. Our childrens ministries exist to provide a loving and secure environment where children are introduced to Christ and families are nurtured in their every day life with God.

New Paltz Nazarene is a safe place for children from birth through sixth grade. Volunteers are trained and approved to help children feel comfortable and ready to interact. Children are encouraged to get involved, meet new friends and have fun. Childrens Worship, a fun-filled and exciting weekly worship experience takes place on Sunday mornings during congregational worship for ages 2 and up. Learning is specifically designed for age appropriate development. Stories, games, multimedia and a variety of hands-on activities help introduce children to the Bible and important spiritual teachings.

Our ultimate goal is seeing children experience the truths they learn in their church environment in their everyday life. Parents are encouraged to help nurture growth in their children by discussing spiritual ideas, making spiritual growth a priority and working together to live out their faith at home.
