Pastor Nancy & Frank Smith
Nancy & Frank are northern New Yorkers at heart. They grew up in upstate New York (Watertown and Plattsburg), and have family in the Watertown area. Previous to moving to New Paltz, Nancy and Frank served on staff with a church in South Portland, Maine, till November 2008 when they sensed God’s directing them back to New York where they have been partnering with the New Paltz church family ever since.
Nancy and Frank are passionate about helping people know God, and helping them become all that God would have them be. They love anything that is outdoors, along with a few things that are not: such as great small groups with great fellowship, and the New York Giants!

Doreen Lukas – Office Manager
Doreen grew up in Saddle Brook, New Jersey and worked as a computer programmer/designer for 18 years before moving to New Paltz in 1999 with her husband Steve. The warm welcome she received from the people at New Paltz Nazarene is blessing her life daily as they've become partners in her walk with Jesus. Doreen likes to travel and experience all things new. That's how she keeps smiling and has a Let’s-Do-It (What are we waiting for?) attitude. Art and innovation have been Doreen’s passion from an early age. Fused with her love of change and love of technology: graphics, internet, and using her research and design skills for the glory of God, working in the church office eventually became a natural fit. She keeps the website current and is a contributor of graphic imaging in the Sunday morning worship service.
She enjoys nature walks, the ocean, Sunshine, and people from all walks of life.

Carol Rosenberger – Sunbeam Nursery School Director
Sunbeam Nursery School has been directed by Carol Rosenberger since 1991. Carol is a N.Y. State Certified Teacher with a Master’s Degree (’76, Michigan State Univ.) in Early Childhood Education. Her love of children paired with her talent for teaching the very young with patience and love is truely a God given gift. She is married to Dave a scientist who works at Cornell as a plant pathologist. They have lived in the area for over 30 years and are avid travelers and and lovers of God's word (The Bible). The Nursery School operates during the New Paltz School year and is open for children ages 3-5, Monday through Wednesday from 9:00-11:30am.
